Another Fundraising Update!

It's been a little over a month since my first post and I've gotten several new people sign up to receive my newsletter, so I thought I would give you all another update. When I last posted, I was at about 20% on my cash budget and had about 20% on my monthly when I factored in verbal commitments. The great news is that all of those verbal commitments have come through plus more! My cash budget is also now around 30-35%. In the last week, I've gotten 3 more verbal commitments to partner with me monthly, so let's pray that those come in soon and that through those I will be able to meet my goal for June!

At the beginning of June month, I knew that I would need to bring in a pretty high amount of both cash and monthly commitments. It seemed like an impossible amount, but as we go into the back half of June, I am already more than half way to my goals! It has been amazing to see God provide for me and open doors to connections I had never even thought about. Three weeks ago, I had an awesome service at my parents' church in Waynesville, MO. God provided to exact amount of money I prayed for and there was an awesome time of ministry at the end of service. Nearly the entire church came forward and I believe that God healed many peoples' hearts that morning! It's awesome to see God work in the process of me raising these funds!

Exciting things are happening in Durban! Randy and Dezra, our team leaders, have been leading a Bible study for the past several months in Durban and God is beginning to really move there. About a month ago, they had communion and a time of worship for the first time and they saw two salvations! It's amazing to know that God is already preparing the hearts of the people of Durban. They are so hungry for a true encounter with God and to build a relationship with Him. Will you join me in prayer for the people of Durban?

There are a lot of steps we have to go through as missionaries to get to Durban. Once our funds are raised, we have to apply for visas. One of the families on our team, the Foglemans, have finished raising their budget (yay!), but their initial visa application was denied. Adam went back to D.C. to reapply, but doesn't know anything yet. Please pray that the Fogleman family will be shown favor in this application process and that they would be able to leave for the field in a timely manner! Nothing is too big for God and we know that He will make a way where there doesn't seem to be one.

Thank you so much for all of your support and prayers! I am so excited for this journey and to see God work in the city of Durban!
